Farhat’s Photo Journal

Photographs, stories and reviews from an ever changing world

The world in which we live is changing and changing fast. In some ways Turkey is no exception. A series of high speed trains now link Istanbul with Konya, Ankara and all ports in between. Modern Boeing 737’s crisscross the skies over the Asian steppe, landing at the tiniest of airfields. These are sometimes little more than a 9000ft strip, a building and two fire engines.

It is in this world that I try and record what I see and write about what you may find interesting. You’ll find stories here from India, Turkey, Asia, Britain and the Antarctic. You will also find reviews and pinhole photographs. Some of the essays are visual, some are written. Enjoy them, and get in touch if you like. – Farhat
